Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Caseagent website, the interactive demo, and your account. They're written in plain English. The most important one comes first: nothing here or in the demo's output is legal advice.
Last updated: July 2026
Read this first ยท Not legal advice
Caseagent is software for legal professionals. Nothing on this site, and nothing produced by the demo, is legal advice, and using either creates no attorney-client relationship with anyone. AI output is a first draft for review by a licensed attorney and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying all output, including every citation and every deadline, before relying on it.
01
The service
Right now, "the service" is three things: this site describing legal case management software we're offering, an interactive demo that generates sample output with AI, and an account you create with your email address. Use of the product inside your account is governed by the plan you choose and the Enterprise DPA where applicable.
By using this site, the demo, or your account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
02
No legal advice, no attorney-client relationship
Caseagent is a tool built for lawyers and legal professionals. It is not a lawyer and we are not a law firm. Nothing on this site, in our emails, or in anything the demo generates constitutes legal advice, and none of it should be relied on as legal advice. Using the site or the demo does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us or anyone else.
If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
03
AI output is a first draft
Everything the demo produces is generated by an AI model. It is a first draft or research aid intended for review by a licensed attorney, and it may contain errors, omissions, outdated law, or citations that do not exist or do not say what the output claims. Deadline calculations may be wrong for your jurisdiction, court, or facts.
You are responsible for verifying all output before relying on it, including every citation and every deadline. Do not file, send, or act on anything the demo generates without independent verification by a licensed attorney against primary sources and the applicable local rules.
04
Acceptable use of the demo
The demo is provided so you can see how the agent works a case file. When you use it, you agree to the following:
- Don't submit unlawful content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
- Don't submit confidential information you don't have the right to submit. In particular, don't paste real client-confidential material; use the fictional sample files or text you're free to share. Demo input is processed to generate your output and is not stored (see the privacy policy), but a public demo is not the place for privileged material.
- Respect the rate limits. The demo is rate-limited per session; don't script, scrape, or otherwise attempt to bypass those limits or use the demo as a free API.
- Don't attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
We may throttle or block access to the demo at our discretion to keep it available for everyone.
05
Accounts and pricing
Creating an account is free and takes an email address and the confirmation code we send to it. The account by itself is not a purchase and gives no access to the workspace: it lets you pick a plan, and the workspace opens once that plan is paid. You can sign in again at any time with a fresh code.
The pricing shown on the pricing page is the published pricing and may change with notice. Plans are billed per firm for the plan you select. What creating an account means in practice is also covered in the FAQ.
06
Intellectual property
The site, its design, copy, the Caseagent name and marks, and the fictional sample case files are ours. You may not copy, republish, or use them commercially without permission, beyond normal viewing and sharing links.
You keep whatever rights you have in text you paste into the demo. To the extent demo output is protectable at all, we don't claim ownership of the output generated for your session; use it at your own risk and subject to section 03.
07
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and demo are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site or demo will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be correct.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or professional liability arising from your use of the site or demo, including any reliance on AI output contrary to section 03. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use this site and demo, which is zero.
08
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operating company's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. The launched product's terms will state the operating company and jurisdiction explicitly.
09
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product moves toward launch, and the launched product will carry its own, fuller terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when the terms change; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
