Litify Pricing: Litify Cost Per User, the 10 License Minimum and the Salesforce Layer

Litify pricing starts at $200 per user per month, the figure Litify lists on its Salesforce AppExchange page, and Litify has required a minimum of 10 platform licenses plus setup fees. So the smallest Litify contract is about $24,000 a year in licenses before implementation, which Litify itself says typically takes 6 to 10 months. The Salesforce layer is resold inside the price, and renewals can rise by up to 7 percent a year.

Before you commit to ten seats

See the case work done on a real file first

Most firms shopping Litify want the matter to move with less staff time: records read, timelines built, drafts started, deadlines calendared. CaseAgent does that inside each matter on one flat price for the firm, with no seat minimum and no six month build. Run a sample file before the Litify demo call.

Everything below comes from Litify's own documents: the AppExchange listing and its data feed, the Litify Services Agreement and its Salesforce appendix, Litify's implementation guide, and every archived version of litify.com/pricing in the Wayback Machine. Where a price circulates without a source, we say so rather than repeat it.

How much does Litify cost?

Litify does not print a price on its website any more. The old pricing URL now redirects to a demo request form, and none of the pages in the Litify sitemap mentions a price. The one current figure Litify publishes itself is on Salesforce AppExchange, where the main listing reads "Starting at $200/User/Month" with "Discounts available for nonprofits". The listing's data feed says the same thing: "Starting at $200 USD per user per month". The Litify ELM listing for in-house legal teams carries the same $200.

Pair that with the minimum. Until at least March 2026 the Litify pricing FAQ said, word for word: "We require a minimum purchase of 10 platform licenses, plus setup fees." Ten licenses at $200 is $2,000 a month, or $24,000 a year, and that is our arithmetic on two figures Litify published, not a quote. Your real number moves with the package, the extensions and the volume discount, which Litify says is "based on the number of licenses purchased".

Litify license cost at the published starting rate
Licenses Year one at $200 Year two at the full 7% uplift Not included
10 (the minimum) $24,000 $25,680 Setup and implementation, extensions (document management, timekeeping and billing, client portal), admin retainer, AI add-ons
25 $60,000 $64,200
50 $120,000 $128,400

What Litify used to publish, and where the $150 figure comes from

Litify did print prices once. The Wayback Machine holds 35 distinct captures of litify.com/pricing between January 2018 and March 2026, and the early ones show full rate cards.

  • January 2018: Access $65, Standard $100, Premium $200 and Unlimited $400 per user per month.
  • October 2018: Premium $150, Enterprise $200, Unlimited "Contact Us".
  • 2019: a single "Litify Full User" at $200, Unlimited "Contact Us". This is the last capture with a printed price.
  • August 2023 to March 2026: packages named Litify Practice Management and Litify Enterprise Legal Management, every one marked "Contact Sales", with the 10 license minimum in the FAQ.

The $150 per user per month on Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice sits next to those 2023 package names, but the number matches the 2018 Premium tier, and none of the three dates it. Other third party ranges, such as $165 to $330 per user with Salesforce included, cite no source at all. The only reason nobody can check them is in the contract: section 8.3 lists "pricing, discounts, rebates and other incentives" as Litify confidential information that customers agree not to disclose.

Do I need a separate Salesforce license for Litify?

No, and several review sites get this wrong. Appendix A of the Litify Services Agreement contains Salesforce's pass-through terms and defines Litify LLC as the "Reseller", "the entity that has contracted directly with SFDC to resell the SFDC Services to its Customers". What you buy is a "Combined Solution" of Salesforce and Litify on one order form. The old Litify FAQ said the same in plain words: "By purchasing Litify licenses, you get the benefits of Salesforce's technology infrastructure."

The limit is in the same appendix. You "may use the SFDC Services solely as part of the Combined Solution", so the bundled layer is not a general CRM seat for your marketing team. If you want standard Salesforce seats alongside Litify, Salesforce's own list prices for Sales Cloud run $25, $100, $195, $395 and $550 per user per month by edition, and those are a separate purchase.

Litify contract terms that change what you pay

Because the rate is confidential, the published Services Agreement is the part of Litify you can compare. These are the clauses a buyer should read before the order form arrives.

Pricing clauses in the Litify Services Agreement
Clause What it says What it means for your budget
4.2 Renewal Renews for the expiring term or one year, whichever is shorter, unless notice is given "at least sixty (60) days before the end" Calendar the notice date the day you sign. Miss it and you own another year.
4.2 Price uplift Per unit pricing "will increase by up to 7%" at renewal, unless the order form differs or Litify gives sixty days notice of "different pricing" The 7% is a default, not a cap. Put a firm ceiling in the order form.
4.2 Promotions Promotional or one-time priced subscriptions renew at "applicable list price" A first-year discount can vanish in year two. Ask how the renewal is priced.
4.3, 5.2 Exit and refunds Termination for cause only; all fees "non-refundable" No walking away mid term because the rollout stalled.
2.1 Provisioning No licenses until the first invoice is paid, but you owe for licenses "as of the commencement of the Term" You pay for seats while the six to ten month build is still running.
2.5 Your data Export on request during the term and "within thirty (30) days" after it ends, then Litify may delete it Run a full export before the notice date, not after the term.

The same shape shows up across the PI market. Assembly Neos renews at your active user count with no refunds, which our Neos pricing breakdown walks through, and Filevine also routes setup through certified partners.

What does a Litify implementation cost?

Litify does not publish an implementation fee, but it is candid about the timeline: "Our implementation projects typically run for about 6-10 months, depending on your business requirements, size, and involvement." Setup is done by Litify or partners it lists, such as Brio, Banjaxed, Turnberry Solutions and Hyperion Global Consulting, under a separate professional services agreement billed on time and materials or a fixed fee. That agreement says a time and materials estimate is not a guarantee.

Two more line items are easy to miss. Litify's in-house admins are a "Paid Add-On" you can put on retainer for complex configuration. And its AI agents, built on Salesforce Agentforce, are sold as a separate consumption-based add-on that Litify bundles with consulting hours, according to Salesforce's own write-up of the deal. Intake automation is part of the Litify pitch too, so if the problem you are really solving is qualifying leads, compare it against tools built for automating the intake consultation itself before paying for a platform around it.

Litify vs Filevine vs CasePeer pricing

For a personal injury firm, the natural comparison set is Filevine, CasePeer and Neos. Only CasePeer prints a full rate card.

Litify, Filevine, CasePeer and Neos pricing compared
Platform Published price Minimum and term Best for
Litify From $200 per user per month (AppExchange) 10 licenses plus setup fees; auto-renews, up to 7% uplift Larger PI and enterprise legal teams that want Salesforce underneath and have an admin
Filevine None; "All packages are custom built" (details) Quote; setup through certified partners High volume litigation that wants deep configuration
CasePeer $90, $130 or $160 per user per month (details) "No long-term contract or setup fee required" Small and mid PI firms that want a visible price
Neos Essentials $109 per user per month, billed yearly 3 users; annual, no refunds PI firms moving off Needles
CaseAgent Solo $149, Firm $399 for up to 5 users, Practice $899 for up to 15 a month Flat per firm, no seat minimum Firms that want the agent to work the file, not a platform to configure

Is Litify worth it for a small firm?

Usually not, and Litify's own minimum says as much. A five lawyer firm with three staff still buys ten licenses, pays through a build measured in months, and needs someone who is comfortable administering a Salesforce org. Litify earns its price at the other end: firms with dozens of users, several practice groups, intake teams that live in reports, and an operations lead who wants to configure everything.

If you are below that line, the useful question is what you want the software to do. If it is storing matters and billing, a per user system with a printed price, compared in our legal case management software comparison, is the cheaper start. If it is getting the work on each file done with fewer hours, that is what CaseAgent is for: an agent inside the matter that reads the record, drafts from it and keeps the deadlines current, on one price for the firm.

Five things to get in writing from Litify

  1. The per license rate, the license count and the package, with every extension priced as a separate line.
  2. The implementation fee or statement of work, with a fixed fee or a not-to-exceed amount.
  3. A renewal cap below the 7 percent default, and confirmation that year one discounts carry into renewal.
  4. A start date for license billing that follows go-live, not signature.
  5. An export format for matters and documents, and the sixty day notice date on your calendar.

Litify pricing, other questions

Does Litify have a minimum number of users?

Yes. The Litify pricing FAQ, unchanged in archived captures from 2023 through March 2026, said: we require a minimum purchase of 10 platform licenses, plus setup fees. The public Services Agreement itself has no seat minimum and leaves the quantity to the order form, so confirm the number on your quote.

Can Litify raise its price at renewal?

Yes. Section 4.2 of the Services Agreement says per unit pricing in a renewal term will increase by up to 7 percent over the prior term, unless the order form says otherwise or Litify gives notice of different pricing at least sixty days before renewal. Promotional or one-time pricing renews at list price.

Can I cancel Litify early?

Not for convenience. Section 4.3 allows termination for cause, meaning an uncured material breach after thirty days notice or bankruptcy. Otherwise you leave by sending non-renewal notice at least sixty days before the term ends. Section 5.2 makes all fees non-refundable, so an unused year is paid for.

How long does a Litify implementation take?

Litify says its implementation projects typically run for about 6 to 10 months, depending on business requirements, size and involvement. Setup is done by Litify or a partner, billed separately from licenses on a time and materials or fixed fee basis, and a time and materials estimate is not a guarantee.
