Every figure here comes from a document we read on October 22, 2026: the live logikcull.com pricing page and its FAQ, Logikcull's Terms of Service effective December 12, 2024, its billing FAQ in the Reveal help center, Wayback Machine captures of the pricing page from 2014 to 2024, a Humboldt County invoice published with a board agenda, and a City of Richmond council agenda. Logikcull has belonged to Reveal since 2023. We build CaseAgent, which does not host eDiscovery, so we are not competing with Logikcull for your culling and production work.
How much does Logikcull cost?
Logikcull costs whatever your quote says, because no current price is printed anywhere on logikcull.com. Two public buyers show the order of magnitude. Humboldt County, California paid $36,000 for February to July 2024, which is about $6,000 a month, for unlimited users and matters with 250 GB of reusable active storage and 75 GB of archive. Richmond, California put a three year contract capped at $144,000, about $48,000 a year, on its July 28, 2026 council agenda.
| Buyer | What it bought | Term | Price | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| County of Humboldt, CA | Subscription, unlimited users and matters, 250 GB active, 75 GB archived, 24/7 support | Feb 1 to Jul 31, 2024 | $36,000 | $6,000 |
| City of Richmond, CA | Subscription for public records requests, subpoenas and regulatory matters, sole source | Jul 29, 2026 to Jul 28, 2029 | Up to $144,000 | Up to $4,000 |
| Veolia North America (Logikcull case study) | 1,490 GB uploaded across a matter run for 10 months on per matter pricing | 10 months | $39,750 | $3,975 |
Humboldt from the Logik Systems invoice dated March 6, 2024. Richmond from the council agenda of July 28, 2026, item W.2.b, subject to the city attorney's review of terms. Veolia from logikcull.com/case-studies. Per month is our arithmetic.
The Humboldt line is the most useful benchmark, because the invoice names the storage. $6,000 a month for 250 GB of active space is $24 per active GB a month, or about $18.46 if you count the archived 75 GB too. A buyer quoted well above that for a similar footprint has room to negotiate.
Logikcull pricing plans in 2026
The pricing page shows three plans and no dollar figures. Each has a demo button where the price used to be.
| Plan | Billing | What it adds | Price shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay As You Go | Monthly, no commitment, per GB stored, 10 GB minimum | Unlimited users, projects and downloads, 24/5 in-app support, matter bill back, onboarding | None |
| Logikcull Subscription | Annual | AV transcription, Slack chat filtering, data archiving, PII detection and redaction, premium support | Quote |
| Corporate Suite | Annual, "Promotion Pricing until 12/31/2026" | Unlimited legal holds and collection from 31+ data sources | Talk to sales |
From logikcull.com/pricing, October 22, 2026. Reveal AI fact finding is marked as an add-on on the first two plans.
The FAQ adds the two rules that set a Pay As You Go bill. Plans are "offered on a monthly, no commit basis" and priced on "amount of data stored, with a minimum threshold of 10 GB." And it separates two structures: "Storage-based plans include reusable blocks of data storage, while matter-based plans include a certain number of matters and charge for data uploaded on a one-time basis." Humboldt's 250 GB of "re-usable Active Storage" is the first kind.
Is Logikcull priced per GB or per matter?
Per GB stored, today. Logikcull has switched models three times, and the old figures still circulate. In 2018 it charged $40 per GB a month self serve and $60 standard. By September 2019 it had announced per matter pricing, "eliminating per-gigabyte hosting fees." By August 2020 that was $250 per matter a month plus $25 per GB uploaded once, rising to $395 per matter by January 2022. Then in March 2023 the numbers came off the page and per GB storage came back.
The model matters more than the rate. Take a 50 GB subpoena response that stays open four months. On the 2022 per matter list it was $395 times four plus $1,250 in upload fees, or $2,830. At the 2018 rate of $40 per GB a month the same matter was $8,000. On Everlaw's government list at $25.24 per GB a month it is about $5,050. Per matter pricing rewarded long, small matters, and storage pricing punishes them. If your work is many small requests that stay open, ask whether a matter based plan is still available.
One stale figure needs a warning. A Logikcull blog post first captured in 2017 still says "$40/GB/month with no minimum commitment," and comparison sites repeat it as a current starting price. It is nine years old, and the live FAQ now sets a 10 GB minimum.
What the Logikcull terms commit you to
The Terms of Service carry no auto renewal clause and no notice period. Those live in the order form, which is not public, so ask for them. What the terms do say changes the cost of a mistake.
| Clause | What it says | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Delete by month end | A Pay As You Go project "must be deleted from the account no later than the last day of the month," with no proration for partial months or late deletion | Close finished projects in the last week of a month, not the first |
| No refunds for errors | "Exceptions will not be made for uploads made in error" | Cull before upload when you can |
| Seven days to pay | Payments are due within seven days of billing. Suspension after 30 days late, termination and deletion of hosted data after 60. Interest up to 12 percent a year | Put Logikcull on autopay or a short approval route |
| Fees can change on email | Logikcull may "modify the fees at any time upon notice via the email address provided by Customer" | Get a price lock for the term in the order form |
| Non refundable | All fees are non refundable, apart from one narrow exception in the terms | Start on Pay As You Go before committing to a year |
| 30 day export window | Hosted data stays available "for up to thirty (30) days after expiration," then is deleted | Diary the export before the term ends |
From the Logikcull Terms of Service effective December 12, 2024, and the billing FAQ updated December 10, 2025.
The 60 day clause deserves a second look from public bodies, which Logikcull courts with a dedicated public records product. A slow purchase order cycle can put a records archive at risk of deletion. If the archive includes criminal justice records, the vendor review also has to cover CJIS compliance, which is a separate check from the price.
Logikcull vs Everlaw and Relativity on price
None of the three prints a commercial price, but each has a public record you can hold a quote against.
| Platform | Pricing basis | Best public figure | Smallest entry point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logikcull | Per GB stored a month, or annual subscription | $36,000 for six months with 250 GB active (Humboldt County) | 10 GB, monthly, no commitment |
| Everlaw | Per GB of peak data a month, AI in credits | $25.24 per GB a month on its GSA list, $1.15 on a DOJ order | Pay as you go, no minimum on the GSA list |
| RelativityOne | Committed data volume, AI included | $268,490.13 for 3 TB of review data on a GSA list | 3 TB bundle on the public list, or a provider |
For a small team with a few hundred gigabytes and no eDiscovery staff, Logikcull and Everlaw land in the same range, and the deciding factors are the minimum, the monthly deletion rule and how much review your team does. Relativity starts where they stop: our Relativity pricing page reads its GSA bundles from 3 TB up, and the Everlaw pricing page has a cost checker for the per GB model. All five main platforms are compared on features in our guide to legal document review software.
Then there is the rest of the matter. Culling and production are one stage. The pleadings, transcripts, records and the documents that survived review still have to be read and turned into a chronology and a response. That work does not need a per GB host, and on the litigation side CaseAgent does it at a flat firm price, $149 a month for one lawyer or $399 for up to five users, with no storage charge.
Five lines to get on a Logikcull quote
- 1
The per GB rate, active and archived. Hold it against Humboldt's $24 per active GB a month.
- 2
Storage based or matter based. If your matters are small and long, ask for a matter plan.
- 3
The overage rate. The billing FAQ says overages are assessed on usage during the term.
- 4
A price lock and renewal terms. The terms let fees change on email notice.
- 5
Whether AI fact finding is in the price. It is an add-on on Pay As You Go and the standard subscription.
Logikcull pricing, other questions
How much does Logikcull cost?
Logikcull no longer prints a price. Its pricing page offers Pay As You Go, billed per GB stored each month with a 10 GB minimum, and annual subscriptions by quote. Public buyers show the range: Humboldt County, California paid $36,000 for six months with 250 GB of active storage, and a Richmond, California council agenda put a three year contract at up to $144,000.
Is Logikcull priced per GB or per matter?
Per GB today. The current Pay As You Go plan is "storage based" and charges per GB of data each month. From 2019 to early 2023 Logikcull sold per matter instead, last listed at $395 per matter a month plus $25 per GB uploaded one time, and before that per GB per month at $40 to $60.
What is the Logikcull minimum?
The pricing FAQ says Pay As You Go plans are "offered on a monthly, no commit basis" and priced on the amount of data stored, "with a minimum threshold of 10 GB." Annual subscriptions are quoted, and their size is set in the order form, which is not public.
Can I cancel Logikcull?
Pay As You Go has no commitment, but the Terms of Service say fees are non refundable and the billing FAQ says there is no proration for partial months or for data not deleted before the period ends. A project must be deleted by the last day of the month to stop that month's charge. After the agreement expires you have 30 days to export.
Can I try Logikcull before buying?
Yes. Logikcull runs a trial on your own data, and the terms say trial data is permanently deleted unless you upgrade, at which point it "will become billable at the then-current rates." The last pricing page that showed numbers, in January 2023, put the trial at 10 GB of uploads, valued at $250.
Is Logikcull cheaper than Everlaw?
Neither publishes a commercial price, so compare quotes. The public records point the same way for small data: Humboldt County's Logikcull subscription worked out to about $6,000 a month for 250 GB active, while Everlaw's GSA list charges $25.24 per GB a month on pay as you go, about $6,310 for the same 250 GB. Everlaw gets cheaper per GB on large bundles.
