Relativity Pricing and RelativityOne Cost per GB for Review, Repository and Cold Data
Relativity prints no price on its own site, but a federal GSA price list does. RelativityOne review data costs $268,490.13 for a 3 TB subscription and $372,902.95 for 5 TB, which is about $7.28 and $6.07 per GB a month if the term is a year. Repository and cold storage are sold by the terabyte at a quarter or less of that. AI review is now included with the data volume, and small agency orders run higher: 1 TB cost USDA $120,650 for a year.

RelativityOne at GSA list
Per review GB a month
Twelve months for the same data
RelativityOne from the GSA list, smallest bundle that covers your review data, read as a yearly price. Everlaw from its own GSA list at 1,024 GB per TB. CaseAgent is a matter agent, not an eDiscovery host, priced per firm.
The review platform is one line of the matter budget
After the production is reviewed, someone still has to read the file and build the case
RelativityOne is priced for terabytes of email and chat. Most of a litigation file is smaller: pleadings, deposition transcripts, records and the documents the review marked hot. Those have to be read, put in order and answered. CaseAgent does that inside each matter, at one flat price for the firm. Pick a sample file and watch it work.

The short answer
How much does Relativity cost?
Every figure on this page comes from documents we read on October 22, 2026: the GSA Advantage catalog listing RelativityOne under EC America's schedule contract GS-35F-0511T (which runs to June 26, 2027), Relativity's own pricing page, its January 2019 pricing announcement, and federal award records on USAspending.gov. The GSA listing does not say how long one subscription unit lasts. Every per month figure here assumes a year, and the federal orders we found support that reading. We build CaseAgent, which does not host eDiscovery, so we are not bidding against Relativity for your review.
The rate card
RelativityOne pricing per TB on the federal price list
Review data, per GB a month at 1,024 GB per TB, if one subscription covers twelve months. Each bundle also includes staging space equal to three times the review data.
Repository data
$22,374.18 per TB
Add on to a 10 TB review subscription, about $1.82 per GB a month. Larger tiers drop to $21,131.17, $19,888.16 and $15,188.34 per TB.
Cold storage
$16,780.64 per TB
Closed matters kept on the platform, about $1.37 per GB a month. Exactly three quarters of the repository rate.
Staging and sandbox
Extra staging is $11,932.89 per TB at the smallest tier, falling to $4,773.15 at 100 TB. A government sandbox is $38,765.94. The 20 TB bundle and above include one sandbox.
The list is internally consistent, which is a reason to trust it as a benchmark. The 50 TB bundle divided by 50 is $55,935.44, and the add on for one more terabyte of review data at that tier is priced at exactly $55,935.44. A repository terabyte costs exactly a quarter of a review terabyte at the 3 TB price ($89,496.71 divided by four is $22,374.18), and cold storage is three quarters of repository. When Relativity announced its RelativityOne pricing in January 2019 it set repository at 33 percent and cold storage at 25 percent of active data, so the gap has widened in the buyer's favor.
Two cautions. These are government prices from one reseller, with the schedule's fee inside them, so they are a reference point and not a quote for a law firm. And the unit term is not printed on the listing. We read each line as a twelve month subscription because the federal orders for the same products run twelve months, and because a 1 TB order at $120,650 for a year sits sensibly above the 3 TB bundle's $89,497 per TB.
What buyers actually pay
One terabyte of RelativityOne cost a federal agency $120,650 for a year
GSA list, 3 TB bundle
$89,497
per TB, about $7.28 per GB a month
USDA order, 1 TB
$120,650
for 12 months, about $9.82 per GB a month
Federal order 123J1925F0050, running August 18, 2025 to August 17, 2026, is described as "1 TB of RelativityOne active data" and totals $120,650. That is the cleanest small buyer price on public record: one terabyte, one year, about $10,054 a month. A buyer below the 3 TB minimum bundle pays more per terabyte, not less.
The large awards bundle data, users, support and often services, so their totals cannot be divided into a per GB rate. They do show how RelativityOne is bought: almost always through a reseller or an eDiscovery services firm, on one year terms with option years, and often with a services line next to the software.

What the data price includes and what it does not
Included with the data
AI review, privilege, Assist, Case Strategy
"Included with your committed data volume, no extra AI licenses required." Processing, analytics, Review Center, redaction and AV transcription are in every plan.
Licensed separately
Four add-ons
Data Breach Response, Translate, Relativity FOIA and Legal Hold are "licensed separately from your data volume commitment".
How you commit
Pay as you go, 1 or 3 years
"Pay as you go, or lock in savings with a one- or three-year commitment." No discount rate is published.
Provider quotes do not always follow that. A UK reseller rate card on the government G-Cloud marketplace, dated January 2026, still lists aiR for Review at £0.08 per document for the first 50,000, next to review hosting at £7.00 per GB a month, repository at £3.50, cold at £1.50, processing at £50 per GB and user licences free of charge. That card is British and in pounds, so use it only to see the shape of a provider quote. If your provider quotes a per document AI charge on a US contract, ask why, since Relativity's own page says AI review comes with the data volume.
The one place users still cost money is the government list, which carries concurrent user packs: 10 users for $36,387.97, 100 for $330,800.90 and 1,000 for $2,778,728.32. Relativity's commercial page says "no per-user fees". A quote with a user line is either a government style contract or a provider charging for seats on its own account.
The contract
Five things that decide the RelativityOne bill
- 1
The committed volume, not the volume you use
A commitment is bought in bundles. Buy 5 TB and use 3.2 TB and you pay for 5. Federal orders call this Flex Commit: a 2024 Justice Department order bought "RelativityOne Flex Commit Data, includes 3 TB staging area" for $22,148.69 over four and a half months.
- 2
Which data counts as review
Review data costs four times repository at the 3 TB price. Data you are only searching or holding for reuse belongs in repository, and closed matters in cold storage, before the next billing period.
- 3
Monthly evaluation
Relativity's 2019 terms for RelativityOne said users and data "will be evaluated each month and pricing adjusted accordingly". Ask how peaks are measured and whether a one week spike sets the month.
- 4
One year or three
The pricing page offers savings for a one or three year commitment over pay as you go. Get the pay as you go rate in writing too, so you can see what the discount is worth.
- 5
The provider's own lines
Most firms buy through an eDiscovery provider, and its quote can add processing, project management, productions and review staffing. Ask for the RelativityOne data rate as its own line.
Honest comparison
Relativity vs other review platforms on published pricing
| Tool | How it is priced | Published figure | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| RelativityOne (Relativity aiR) | Committed data volume, AI included, mostly through providers | GSA list $268,490.13 for 3 TB review data; cold $16,780.64 per TB | Large or repeat matters, firms with a Relativity provider |
| Everlaw | Per GB of peak data a month, users included, AI in credits | GSA list $25.24 per GB active on pay as you go, $10.41 on 5 TB | Teams that want to run review themselves |
| DISCO | One per GB rate on processed data, AI included | No figure on csdisco.com; a 2021 city order form prints $40 per GB a month list, $25 negotiated. DISCO pricing | Firms that want software and review services from one vendor |
| Logikcull (Reveal) | Pay per GB a month, or an annual subscription | Quote only; 10 GB minimum. A county paid $36,000 for six months with 250 GB active. Logikcull pricing | Small productions and subpoenas without eDiscovery staff |
| Casefleet | Per user, storage above 5 GB per account | $30 or $140 per user a month yearly, $10 per GB a month | Fact chronologies on small to mid data sets |
| CaseAgent | Flat per firm | $149 Solo, $399 Firm (5 users), $899 Practice (15 users) a month | Reading the matter file, drafting with citations, deadlines. Not a review platform |

Where Relativity wins: at government list price it is the cheaper platform for a mid sized matter. Three terabytes on RelativityOne's 3 TB bundle is $268,490 for the subscription, while the same 3,072 GB on Everlaw's list comes to about $521,579 over twelve months. It is also sold and staffed by a wide network of eDiscovery providers, which helps when a production lands on a deadline. Where it loses: there is no small entry point on any public list. The smallest bundle is 3 TB, a 1 TB federal order cost $120,650, and a firm with a 200 GB matter will meet Relativity only through a provider's per GB rate.
Those are list prices, and negotiated deals move far more than the gap between vendors. The Justice Department buys Everlaw at $1.15 per GB a month. Put the same terabytes in front of two vendors and compare written quotes line by line. For the review platforms side by side on features, TAR and defensibility, see our guide to legal document review software, and the litigation page for what CaseAgent does with the file between productions.
Before you sign
Six questions for a RelativityOne quote
1
What is the rate per GB of review data?
Ask for it as its own line, separate from processing and project management, and compare it with $7.28 at the 3 TB government price.
2
What do repository and cold storage cost?
On the federal list they run at a quarter and under a fifth of review data. Closed matters should move there the week they close.
3
Is AI review billed separately?
Relativity says aiR Review comes with the data volume. A per document AI charge on your quote needs an explanation.
4
Is there a user charge?
The commercial page says no per user fees. Only the government list has user packs.
5
How is the month measured?
Peak or average, and on which day. A big ingest at month end can bill the whole month.
6
What happens to the data at the end?
Get the export window, the format and any export fee in writing before the commitment starts.
Questions buyers ask
Relativity pricing questions, answered from the source
How much does Relativity cost?
Relativity does not publish a commercial price. The only US price list is a GSA schedule from reseller EC America, which prints 3 TB of RelativityOne review data at $268,490.13 and 5 TB at $372,902.95 per subscription. Read as yearly prices, that is about $7.28 and $6.07 per GB a month. Federal orders confirm the scale: USDA paid $120,650 for 1 TB of active data for 12 months.
How much does RelativityOne cost per GB?
On the GSA list, review data works out to about $7.28 per GB a month at the 3 TB bundle and $3.71 at 150 TB, if each subscription covers a year. Repository data adds $22,374.18 per TB, about $1.82 per GB a month, and cold storage $16,780.64 per TB, about $1.37. A 1 TB federal order came to about $9.82 per GB a month.
What is Relativity aiR pricing?
Relativity aiR is the current name for the RelativityOne platform on relativity.com. Its pricing page says you can pay as you go or lock in savings with a one or three year commitment, and that aiR Review, Privilege, Assist and Case Strategy are included with your committed data volume, with no separate AI licenses and no per user fees. No dollar figure is printed.
Does Relativity charge per user?
Not on its commercial plans. Relativity's pricing page says the AI capabilities come with your data volume "with no separate AI licenses and no per-user fees." The government list is different: it still carries concurrent user packs, 10 users at $36,387.97 and 100 users at $330,800.90, so check whether a quote you receive includes a user line.
Is Everlaw cheaper than Relativity?
At government list price, not for a 3 TB matter. RelativityOne's 3 TB bundle is $268,490 a subscription, while the same 3,072 GB on Everlaw's GSA list costs about $43,465 a month, or $521,579 for twelve months. Negotiated prices change the picture: a 2026 Justice Department order buys Everlaw at $1.15 per GB a month. Compare written quotes for the same data.
What is RelativityOne Flex Commit?
Flex Commit is the name used on federal orders for a committed RelativityOne data volume. A 2024 Justice Department order describes "RelativityOne Flex Commit Data, includes 3 TB staging area, includes Legal Hold" for $22,148.69 over four and a half months. You commit to a volume for a term and pay that commitment whether or not you fill it.
Who sells RelativityOne?
Relativity sells directly and through partners. Federal records show RelativityOne bought through EC America on the GSA schedule, and through Carahsoft, immixTechnology, New Tech Solutions, Deloitte, Modus eDiscovery and others. Most law firms meet Relativity through an eDiscovery service provider, which adds its own charges for processing, project management and review.
Is RelativityOne the same as Relativity aiR?
Yes, for pricing purposes. Relativity's pricing page is now titled "Relativity aiR Pricing" and describes "Relativity aiR" as the AI platform for legal data intelligence with processing, analytics, review, redaction and AV transcription built into every plan. Government listings and federal orders still use the RelativityOne name.
How is RelativityOne billed?
By data volume. When Relativity moved customers to RelativityOne in 2019 it said users and data would be evaluated each month and pricing adjusted accordingly, on a one or three year contract, with repository data at 33 percent and cold storage at 25 percent of the active data cost. On today's GSA list the ratios are 25 percent and 18.75 percent at the 3 TB price.
How much does eDiscovery cost per GB?
Published US figures are rare. RelativityOne's GSA list works out to about $3.71 to $7.28 per GB a month for review data if read as yearly prices, Everlaw's federal list runs $7.49 to $25.24 per GB a month, and a 1 TB RelativityOne federal order came to about $9.82. Service providers add processing and project management on top.
Keep Relativity for the production. Give the rest of the file to an agent.
CaseAgent keeps each matter in one place and puts an AI agent inside it: it reads filings, records and correspondence as they arrive, builds the chronology, drafts letters, pleadings and discovery responses with citations back to the page, and keeps court deadlines current. Solo $149 a month, Firm $399 for up to 5 users, Practice $899 for up to 15, or $74, $199 and $449 a month billed yearly, with no per GB charge.
