Most PI firms land on Pro, and Pro is $130 a seat
Basic looks like the bargain at $90, but it leaves out intake, texting and every integration, LawPay and QuickBooks Online included. A firm that signs cases from leads and takes payments online ends up on Pro.
Because CasePeer puts the whole firm on one tier, the upgrade applies to every seat at once. For eight users, the step from Basic to Pro is $320 a month, or $3,840 a year.
- No long term contract and no setup fee; guided implementation and training included.
- Demo only, no free trial. Monthly price only on the page.
- No refunds, and the 30 day money back guarantee from 2019 to 2021 is gone.

Pro has gone from $99 to $130 in three years, up 31 percent. Basic went from $69 to $90. Each step was $10 or $11 a seat, and the latest, $11 on every tier, landed between late July and mid September 2026.
Before 2023 CasePeer sold one plan with every feature. It was $55, $70 or $85 a user by firm size in 2016, a flat $85 with an activation fee of $225 to $875 in 2021, and $89 through 2022.
The 8am terms let it change prices on prior written notice, effective at your next subscription period, and name no fixed number of days. On monthly billing that can be the next month.

Basic fits
A small firm that gets cases by referral, sends invoices outside the system and does not need texting. Treatment, liens and settlements are all there.
Pro fits
Firms with an intake desk, marketing spend to track, LawPay, QuickBooks Online or a lead tool like Lead Docket. The integrations alone push most firms here.
Advanced fits
Multi office firms that report across locations, push data into a warehouse, or need the API. It is $30 a seat over Pro for every user.

Costs that sit outside the seat price
E-signature
$39 to $99
A month per firm: $39 for 1 to 3 users, $69 for 4 to 9, $99 for 10 and up. Dropbox Sign, unlimited contracts, activated only through CasePeer.
Migration in
Quoted
Optional on every tier, price not printed. Under the 8am terms import fees are prepaid in full, non-refundable, and timelines are estimates.
Export out
$1,000 or $2,500
CSV of firm data $1,000; complete case export with documents $2,500, 4 to 6 weeks. Case by case downloads are free.
Payments
LawPay rates
CasePeer connects to your own LawPay account, Pro and up only. LawPay prints 2.99% plus 30 cents on Visa, Mastercard and Discover, 1% on eCheck.
Texting, storage, updates, support and training are included in the seat. The 8am terms do reserve extra fees for an unusually high number of users, support tickets or bandwidth, without a number, so a firm planning 50 plus seats should ask what triggers that clause.

The contract terms that change what CasePeer really costs
| Section | What it says | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Part I, 4 Term | Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually, and are charged on the renewal date unless you terminate in time | Calendar the renewal date if you sign annual |
| Part I, 11 Fees | Fees are final and non-refundable, including partial months, fewer users and downgrades; prices can change on prior written notice at the next period; 1.5% a month on late amounts | Remove departed staff before the billing date |
| Part I, 6 Users | No refund if you fail to remove an authorized user | Make seat cleanup part of offboarding |
| Part I, 13 Termination | You may cancel any time, effective before the next renewal; the account closes and 8am may delete content; no export window is promised | Order the export before you give notice |
| Part III, 2 and 3 Data services | Import and export are separate add-on fees, prepaid and non-refundable; quoted timelines are estimates | Get the export price and format in writing up front |
| Part III, 1 8am IQ | No training on your content; AI providers may keep inputs up to 30 days; no protected health information in AI inputs | Keep medical records out of the AI assistant |
| Part I, 22 and 23 | Individual AAA arbitration in Austin, class action and jury waiver, one year to bring a claim, Texas law | Note it before a large commitment |
One practical catch: the terms say you can cancel through your account, but the CasePeer help center says subscriptions cannot be cancelled inside the app. Cancel by email to support or by phone, and keep the confirmation.

CasePeer and MyCase are sister products under 8am, so a general practice firm with a growing PI caseload is often offered both. For the vendors that publish nothing, our CasePeer vs Filevine, Litify and Neos comparison works through the seat math, and the personal injury use case shows what CaseAgent does inside a PI file.
Demo call checklist
Six things to settle before you sign with CasePeer
01
Which tier your integrations need
LawPay, QuickBooks Online, Lead Docket and Zapier are Pro and up. List every tool you connect today before you price Basic.
02
Who needs a seat
Billing follows active users, and the whole firm shares one tier. Ask whether intake staff and part time records clerks count.
03
The migration quote
Get a fixed price for moving your current cases, documents and contacts. It is prepaid and non-refundable once ordered.
04
A rate hold
Prices rose in 2024, 2025 and 2026. If you sign annual, ask for the rate in writing for the full term.
05
The exit format
A full export is $2,500 and loses folder structure. Ask to see a sample export before you load ten years of cases.
06
The work the seat does not do
CasePeer tracks treatment and bills. Someone still reads the records and writes the demand. Price that labor too.
Answered first, then explained
CasePeer pricing questions PI firms ask
How much does CasePeer cost?
CasePeer costs $90 per user a month on Basic, $130 on Pro and $160 on Advanced, according to casepeer.com/pricing. The page shows monthly billing only and says no long term contract or setup fee is required. Every user in the firm must be on the same tier, so five users on Pro run $650 a month, or $7,800 a year, before add-ons.
Does CasePeer have annual pricing or a discount for paying yearly?
Not on the public page. The CasePeer pricing toggle shows only Monthly, and no annual rate or yearly discount is printed anywhere on the site. The 8am terms of service do allow annual subscriptions billed in advance on the anniversary date, so an annual order is possible, but any discount for it is a sales conversation.
Is there a CasePeer free trial?
No. CasePeer offers a demo, not a free trial, and its pricing page says "No credit card required" only for booking that demo. Capterra lists the free trial and free version as not available. Plan a demo built around one of your own settled cases, so you can see treatment tracking and the settlement screens with real numbers.
What is the difference between CasePeer Basic, Pro and Advanced?
Basic at $90 covers case and contact management, medical treatment, lien and expense tracking, the settlement calculator, trust tracking, calendaring and the client portal. Pro at $130 adds intake and lead tracking, two way texting, 50 plus reports, mass tort tracking, every third party integration including LawPay and QuickBooks Online, and 8am IQ AI. Advanced at $160 adds text scheduling, multi office reporting, data sync, case grades and API access.
How much does CasePeer e-signature cost?
E-signature is an add-on on every CasePeer tier, priced per firm rather than per user: $39 a month for 1 to 3 users, $69 for 4 to 9 users and $99 for 10 or more, according to the CasePeer help center. It runs on Dropbox Sign, includes unlimited contracts and templates, and must be activated through CasePeer, so an existing Dropbox Sign account cannot be connected.
Does CasePeer charge for data migration?
CasePeer lists data migration as optional on all three tiers and does not publish the price; it is quoted, and the 8am terms say import fees are set in your order, paid in full in advance and non-refundable. Setup, guided implementation and live training are included. In July 2021 CasePeer printed activation fees of $225, $475 and $875 by firm size, but those are gone.
How much does it cost to export data from CasePeer?
A full CSV export of firm data costs $1,000 and a complete case export with documents costs $2,500, with a 4 to 6 week timeline, according to the CasePeer help center. Downloading documents case by case is free. Folders and subfolders are not preserved in a firm wide export, so ask for the export format before you sign.
Can I cancel CasePeer at any time and get a refund?
You can cancel at any time, but there is no refund. The 8am terms that cover CasePeer say service fees are final and non-refundable, including partial months and removed users, and the subscription ends before the next renewal date. Cancellation goes through CasePeer support by email, phone or chat, because it cannot be done inside the app.
Did CasePeer raise its prices?
Yes, several times. CasePeer launched three tiers at $69, $99 and $129 in 2023, moved to $79, $109 and $139 in early 2024, raised Pro and Advanced to $119 and $149 in 2025, and added $11 to every tier in late summer 2026 for today's $90, $130 and $160. Many review sites still show $79, $119 and $149.
Who owns CasePeer?
CasePeer is owned by 8am, the company formerly called AffiniPay, which also owns MyCase, LawPay and DocketWise. CasePeer was founded in 2015, joined MyCase in March 2021, and came under AffiniPay when it acquired MyCase in June 2022. AffiniPay renamed itself 8am in August 2025, and the product is now sold as 8am CasePeer.
CasePeer tracks the treatment. CaseAgent reads it.
CaseAgent reads the medical records and bills in each file, builds the treatment chronology with a citation to every page, drafts the demand letter and keeps court deadlines current. Solo $149 a month, Firm $399 for up to 5 users, Practice $899 for up to 15, Enterprise $1,798 for up to 45, or $74, $199, $449 and $899 a month billed yearly. One price for the firm, no per user charge and no setup fee.
