TimeSolv Pricing and TimeSolv Legal Pricing per User in 2026

TimeSolv stopped printing per user prices in late 2025, so every quote is now a sales conversation. Its last public table put TimeSolv Legal at $53 per user a month billed annually ($55 monthly) for 1 to 4 users, and TimeSolv Pro at $38 ($40). The live page adds a 25 percent first year discount and add-ons from $147 a month. Refunds are not offered.

Short answer

Expect a quote in the mid $50s for Legal, before the promo

TimeSolv raised its Legal rate every year or two from 2020 to 2025, from $39.95 to $55 a user billed monthly for a small firm, then took the table down. A quote today will start from that last table or above it.

Two things move the number. Seat count, because the old tables stepped down at 5 and 15 users and the page still says volume pricing is available. And the 25 percent launch offer, which only covers year one, so the honest comparison with Bill4Time or PracticePanther is the year two price.

  • 10 day free trial, no card. It was 30 days until 2024.
  • No long term contract on monthly plans; ACH payment only on annual plans.
  • No refunds or pro rated credits, and the old money back guarantee is gone.

Monthly billing, 1 to 4 users, per user a month, from archived timesolv.com price pages

TimeSolv Legal for a small firm, 2007 to 2025

The steps came every 12 to 24 months: $39.95 in October 2020, $43.95 in August 2023, $49.99 in August 2024 and $55 in July 2025. By November 2025 the table was gone and the page said only "inquire with sales".

Annual billing has always been a few dollars cheaper. On the last table it saved $2 a user a month for 1 to 4 users and $3 above that, far less than the $10 most practice platforms knock off for paying yearly.

In 2007 the same Legal plan was $35 a month or $350 a year, and administrative staff who did not record time were free. TimeSolv itself began in 1999 inside Thomson Reuters' Elite group and has been part of ProfitSolv since September 2020.

Quote checklist

Six things to get in writing before you sign with TimeSolv

01

The year two rate

The 25 percent offer ends after year one or month four. Ask what the renewal rate is, and for how long it holds.

02

Who counts as a user

The FAQ says you pay per active user. In 2007 non timekeeping staff were free. Ask whether your assistants and bookkeeper need seats.

03

The volume break

The last table dropped the rate at 5 and 15 Legal users. If you are near a step, ask for the lower rate now.

04

Add-on users and setup

CRM covers 3 users. Get the price for more and any onboarding or website setup fee before you turn it on.

05

Payment processing rates

TimeSolvPay prints none. Compare its card and ACH rates against LawPay, which TimeSolv also connects to.

06

Conversion, priced

Section 6.5 bills conversion at standard rates even if you stop. Get the number for moving your current time and trust history.

Answered first, then explained

TimeSolv pricing questions firms ask

How much does TimeSolv cost?

TimeSolv no longer prints a per user price; its pricing page shows a feature matrix, a 10 day trial and "inquire with sales" for volume pricing. The last published table, live from July to October 2025, put TimeSolv Legal at $55 per user a month billed monthly or $53 billed annually for 1 to 4 users, falling to $50 and $47 at 15 users or more.

How much is TimeSolv Legal per user?

On the last table TimeSolv published, Legal cost $55 monthly or $53 annually per user for 1 to 4 users, $53 or $50 for 5 to 14 users, and $50 or $47 for 15 users and up. That table came down by November 2025. The $47.50 figure on Capterra and Software Finder is the annual 1 to 4 user rate from August 2024 to April 2025.

What is the difference between TimeSolv Pro and TimeSolv Legal?

TimeSolv Pro is the time, expense and billing product for professional services firms in general, and Legal adds what law firms need: trust accounting with automatic trust transfers, LEDES billing, conflict checks and matter custom fields. Pro was cheaper on the last printed list, $40 monthly or $38 annually per user for 1 to 9 users.

Is there a TimeSolv free trial?

Yes. The pricing page offers 10 days free with no credit card, and the account goes inactive afterwards unless you subscribe. Ten days is short for a billing system, so load one real month of time entries, run a pre-bill and send a LEDES invoice to yourself before day ten. The trial was 30 days from 2007 to at least 2024.

Does TimeSolv have a discount right now?

Yes. The live pricing page advertises 25 percent off the first year on an annual plan, or 25 percent off the first four months on a monthly plan. The offer is not in any capture of the page through June 10, 2026, so it is recent, and year two is billed at the full rate. Ask for the full rate in writing.

Can I get a refund from TimeSolv?

No. Section 5.2 of the TimeSolv Subscription Agreement says plainly that it does not issue refunds or pro rated credits. The six month money back guarantee TimeSolv printed from 2019 disappeared from its pricing page by November 2024. Start monthly if you are unsure; the pricing FAQ says there is no long term contract.

What happens to my data if I cancel TimeSolv?

Section 6.4 of the Subscription Agreement says billing data for terminated accounts is kept for 14 months after termination, and TimeSolv has no liability for deleting it after that. The agreement does not promise a self service export after cancellation, and section 6.5 bills conversion help at TimeSolv's standard service rates, so export your data before you cancel.

How much does the TimeSolv CRM add-on cost?

TimeSolv prints its CRM and intake add-on at $147 a month billed annually or $177 month to month, for up to 3 TimeSolv users. It does not print the price for more users or any setup fee. Its sister brand Rocket Matter sells the same add-on at the same price with a $399 onboarding fee and $49 to $59 per extra user.

Who owns TimeSolv?

ProfitSolv, a legal and accounting software group formed by Lightyear Capital on September 24, 2020 to buy Rocket Matter, TimeSolv and ImagineTime. ProfitSolv later added Tabs3 and CosmoLex, and FTV Capital became an equal co-owner in June 2025. TimeSolv itself dates from 1999 and was privately owned from 2006.

What is the best alternative to TimeSolv?

For dedicated legal time and billing, Bill4Time is the closest match with a printed price: Legal Pro at $59 per user a month billed annually includes trust accounting. If you want matters and documents as well, PracticePanther Business is $89 and MyCase Pro $100. CosmoLex at $99 to $129 adds a general ledger, and Rocket Matter and Tabs3 sit in the same ProfitSolv family.

Billing records the hours. CaseAgent cuts the ones you cannot bill.

Keep TimeSolv or any billing system for time and trust. CaseAgent reads the case file, drafts letters, pleadings and discovery responses and keeps court deadlines current. Solo $149 a month, Firm $399 for up to 5 users, Practice $899 for up to 15, Enterprise $1,798 for up to 45, or $74, $199, $449 and $899 a month billed yearly. No setup fee and no per user charge.
